Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Marie Pavié'.
Patio, Polyantha.
Blush, white shading, darker center. Soft-pink bud clusters swirl open and mature to pure white. Moderate fragrance. up to 25 petals. Average diameter 1.75". Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, rosette bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Short, bushy, thornless (or almost).
Height of 15" to 4' (40 to 120 cm). Width of 2' (60 cm).
USDA zone 4b through 10a. Shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Mark likes these varieties because "they have great hardiness and disease resistance, they are low maintenance and are very free blooming."
